New design, new features, new website!

Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall were looking to update their existing website design and add new functionality.  After the initial meetings we created a custom responsive website design and, based on their needs, adapted this for the WordPress platform.

WordPress is highly customisable and so this allows the user the ability to perform any updates to the website page content should they need to.

Responsive design

It has become the norm for a website to be usable on a mobile device and our latest build is no exception.  Google recently updated their algorithms to give priority to mobile friendly websites on their search engine rankings.

As you can see from the image above, the website is designed to ensure the user can easily view the website whether they are using a desktop, tablet or mobile phone.

New functionality

In addition to the pages they had in place on their previous website we have added an event booking section to allow users to purchase tickets to certain events online and incorporated Town Hall Live, which was a separate website originally.  Events can be added, edited or removed by the customer if needed and full contact information can be easily included.  Town Hall Live events also include the ability to embed YouTube videos.

Overall, the website has been well received and we’re happy with the result.
