Urban Feather is a full-service design agency based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. The business was founded in January 2004 and aims to provide high quality and bespoke design and marketing solutions to companies across the country. Our friendly and approachable team offer graphic design, print, web and digital marketing solutions to a variety of industry sectors.

We are looking for a web developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have drive, determination, be willing to learn and get involved. Working to tight deadlines, alongside clients and designers, you will work on a wide variety of projects in a wide range of industries. You will be an integral part of the team and client facing from the outset.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, be able to handle multiple projects and meet all deadlines. You should have a portfolio to demonstrate your skills and a real enthusiasm for creating workable websites.

You should be confident with HTML, CSS & Sass, Javascript, PHP and ideally have a knowledge of WordPress (.org) theme customisation. Knowledge of Shopify and Liquid would also be advantageous.

Candidates should be up to date with the latest web trends and standards, have great attention to detail and be comfortable speaking with clients either face to face or on the phone.

Required Skills

Good listener with great communication skills & an eye for detail
Well organised, with the ability to envisage the finished project
Experience with HTML, CSS & Sass, JavaScript and PHP
Knowledge of WordPress (.org) theme customisation
Be able to present examples of your work
Be able to work with cloud based hosting, configure emails and deal with technical support queries
