Personal information as outlined by GDPR obtained during our sales process (including our website enquiry form) is kept for one year and initially includes a name, business name, contact number, email address and relevant quote information.
Personal information obtained by signing up to our email newsletter includes an email address, first name and last name.
Personal information obtained after becoming an Urban Feather client can include an invoicing address, invoicing email address, ongoing notes, artwork samples, and digital artwork.
3. Why we collect it
Data collected during our sales process is obtained to allow us to compose, provide and discuss your quote.
Data collected through email newsletter sign ups will be used solely for the purpose of sending you our email newsletter.
Additional client data is collected to issue invoices or as part of the project process.
4. Where we store it
Data collected during our sales process may be stored in our paper filing cabinet, online CRM, company mobile devices, NAS drive and/or studio PCs/laptops.
Data collected through email newsletter sign ups is stored within our MailChimp account only.
Additional client data may be stored in our Sage invoicing system, paper filing cabinet, NAS drive, studio PCs/laptops or our third-party suppliers.
5. How long will we store it
Personal information collected during our sales process will be stored for a period of one year in order to fulfil our contractual obligations or to carry out tasks prior to entering a contract.
Data collected through email newsletter sign ups will be stored indefinitely unless the client updates their emailing preferences/unsubscribes (available at the bottom of each email).
Additional client data will be stored for as long as agreed to in our client GDPR data form.
6. Who we disclose it to
We will only pass on information about you as an individual (as opposed to aggregate information) to third parties to enable us to perform services requested by you.
Keeping information about you secure is very important to us and encrypt data passed through our website using SSL. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. As a result, whilst we strive to take every possible step to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information which you send to us, and you do so at your own risk.
